Covid: Telangana CM to decide on lockdown extension after a cabinet meeting on May 30, 2021

Boss Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao will hold a urgent gathering with his cabinet ministers on May 30, 2021 over different issues including farming, crops, crop acquirement, accessibility of seeds, fertilisers, COVID cases in the Telangana state, and extension of the continuous lockdown in the state among others.

Boss, Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to hold the State Cabinet meeting on May 30 (Sunday) at 2 PM, an official press statement said here on Wednesday. In the meeting, the Cabinet would examine about agriculture – crops in the State, the ongoing paddy procurement process, availability of seeds and fertilisers, curbing the supply of spurious seeds – Covid(coronavirus), lockdown and different subjects, the delivery said.

The state is right now under lockdown till 30 May, 2021 to stop the flood in Covid-19 cases in the state.

In the meantime, Telangana on Tuesday reported 3,821 new COVID-19 cases taking the count to over 5.60 lakh while the cost remained at 3,169 with 23 casualties, a government bulletin said.

More noteworthy Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) represented the greatest number of cases with 537, trailed by Khammam (245) and Rangareddy (226), the notice said.
